Exploration efficiency is often treated as a function of technology.
It may also be a function of prioritization.
The fastest path is not always the most productive path.
This paper evaluates whether constraint-guided exploration can improve efficiency by directing effort toward regions exhibiting greater geological support.
Efficiency improves when uncertainty decreases faster than resources are consumed.
Constraint systems may provide one mechanism for improving that balance.
