Great Circle Reconstruction IV

Great-circle reconstruction is useful only if it can fail.

The Earth: Day Zero framework therefore defines falsifiability criteria for candidate entrance, exit, and midpoint relationships.

Failure Mode One

If candidate domains cannot be connected through a stable great-circle relationship under reasonable uncertainty conditions, the geometric reconstruction weakens.

Failure Mode Two

If the proposed midpoint domain does not remain near the expected great-circle midpoint after plausible reconstruction adjustments, the three-domain model weakens.

Failure Mode Three

If alternative domain selections produce equally strong or stronger relationships with fewer assumptions, the preferred reconstruction must be revised.

Scientific Function

The purpose of the great-circle framework is not to force alignment.

Its purpose is to determine whether the proposed domain relationships survive objective geometric testing.
